MNS is a cooperative nursery school! Every member must co-op! Every month a co-op schedule for your class will be handed out. You are responsible for co-oping on your assigned days. If you have a schedule conflict, etc., you are responsible for switching with another parent within your class to substitute. Members cannot continually "switch" with other parents to get out of participating. Mayo Nursery School is all about the hands-on experience and being involved in you childs' learning experience. Take advantage of this precious time with your child and his/her class!
In addition to co-oping, each family is assigned a small job within the school. Applicants have the opportunity to give an order of preference to three jobs from the list of positions (attached to the Membership Application). Members receive job assignment and instructions on Orientation Night in August.
Participate in any fundraiser(s) of your choice throughout the year and sell $250 in product

Donate $150 (taxdeductible!), which you can split payment into two increments. Pay the first $75 by December 31st and the second $75 by April 1st.
There are three general membership meetings a year. These are scheduled for October, January and April.
Classroom Setup scheduled in August for 4 years-old class parents. Classroom Cleanup/Breakdown will be scheduled after Graduation in May, for 3 year old class parents.
