Mayo Nursery School is fortunate to have Miss Stephanie (aka Stephanie Watson) as our teacher. Both of her sons graduated from MNS, and she served on the board for two years. She was so pleased with the experience, she decided to get even more involved and started teaching at the school in 2006.
Miss Stephanie graduated from Salisbury University with a BS in Elementary Education and also has a Masters equivalency in Reading. She taught first and second grade for eight years in the Anne Arundel County School system.
Stephanie's teaching philosophy is reflected in her creative methods for getting the children motivated and excited about learning. She encourages her students to do their best, respect friends and parents, and most of all to have fun at school. Stephanie's love for teaching and her students shows every day with her dynamic lesson plans and fantastic rapport with the children.
